The Loyal Order to appear with Puddle of Mudd

Debut of iconic modern rock group to showcase new releases with nationally-ranked artists “Puddle of Mudd”

The Loyal Order will be performing with Puddle of Mudd at the historic Bossanova Ballroom in Portland, Oregon on September 27, 2019. The Bossanova Ballroom is a historic 11,000 square foot venue. The ballroom stage overlooks a 2,000 square foot dance floor with 20 foot high ceilings. The balcony level, Jameson Black Barrel Social Club, has a more intimate feel with a second stage, lounge, and vintage game room. The main ballroom and balcony levels each have full service bars.

The Loyal Order first hatched as a studio project several years ago when Jeff Buehner was approached to write a theme song for a regional outdoor hunting reality show. After consulting with guitarist Brandon Cook for a heavy riff, the result was a song called Off the Grid (Superhuman). It aired regionally in the Pacific NW for two seasons.

A bass player by trade, singing is a new beginning for Jeff. The songs were originally written with a different singer in mind, but after laying scratch tracks for the first few songs, the producer convinced him to lay the final tracks himself.

From this songwriting partnership between Buehner and Cook, the songs began to flow. Originally, the recordings were produced and engineered by Kevin Hahn at Opal Studios in Portland. Off the Grid, Colorblind, and I Fall Silent. And most recently with Rob Daiker (Slowrush, Velabonz, The Dan Reed Network, Royal Bliss) who has produced a suite of releases: “The River”, “Sabachthani”, “Tears From Kelly”, “Half Life”, and “Ready for Dead”.

Ready For Dead” was released March 1, 2019 as a single and music video (Bühner Media/Von Artists/The Orchard) and rang up 50,000 Facebook views in it’s first six weeks and is still growing. Look for new singles and videos in the coming months.
